For this project I looked to the song Water Slide by Mcbaise to create a poster based on what the song was about. After doing some research, I believe the song talks about a heroin trip. With that being said, I did some research on how I could subtly hint to this. During my research some of the info I learned was that "horse" is a slang word for it and during the trip, people feel a comfort and warmth while they're put in this sort of limbo between sleep and being awake. Bringing it over to my poster, I decided to put an image of a horseback rider to depict the person who will be having the trip, along with colors to suggest to the warmth and comfort heroin gives you. I thought the verse I took from the song went well with the horseback rider and I imagine the person may be going off to rope something down.
